My love of reading romance fiction goes back to those early years when I was raising a young family. It wasn’t until much later in life I actually took up the pen to write my first historical romance, Wind Warrior. I really don’t fit into one specific niche. Once a story starts to flow, it’s only then I know what genre/sub­genre it will fit under.

I have only one regret, and that is not getting to this point in my career much sooner, rather than later. If you enjoy reading about the crazy (and entirely true) people of today have been arrested for, Dumbest, Thugs, Thieves, and Rogues is the book for you. It's a short read that tells various accounts of the most unbelievable things people have done. This could easily be read in one sitting if you would like. I read it in small doses with a few stories at a time. I was simply blown away by some of the things these people have done. There's no doubt quite a few of the stories will leave you walking away shaking your head.

About the author:

Professor Birdsong received his J.D. from the Harvard Law School and his B.A. from Howard University. He teaches law in Orlando, Florida. After graduation from law school he worked four years at the law firm of Baker Hostetler. He then entered into a varied and distinguished career in government service. He served as a diplomat with the U.S. State Department with various postings in Nigeria, Germany and the Bahamas. Professor Birdsong later served as a federal prosecutor. After leaving government service, and before he began teaching, Professor Birdsong was in private law practice in Washington, D.C.
