Review- As a mom of an autistic son, I wish I would have read this book when he first started school. It would have saved me a lot of hassle and heartache. Luckily I found teachers that cared but that isn't always the case.
So much of this book provoked emotion in me, she knew exactly what I'd been dealing with and I especially loved the section on self care.
If you have a special needs child I highly recommend this book. It would make a great gift too.
She is the author of Special Ed Mom Survival Guide: How to prevail in the special ed process while discovering life-long strategies for both you and your child.
