Our review: I've seen so many paranormal mash-up books lately. It seems the days of simple vampire OR were OR fae books are behind us. So I was a little weary when I considered this new combination: witches, vampires and yoginis? How on earth will this work?

But it does. Oh, how it does! Author Melissa Lummis spins with seamless perfection a tale where these groups exist together. She makes it work. She does an amazing job of moving us--with Loti--from the fear and despair at the beginning of the story through a journey of discovery, both self and worldly, to a place of acceptance and peace.
